Stefanos Kordas is a capital markets professional with multi-decade, multi-cycle, principal investment experience. Business building and strategic planning experience within Investment Banks, Hedge Funds and Asset Management firms. Demonstrable track record, unparalleled markets resources and network, strong and thematic process. Skills include trading, portfolio construction, asset management, risk management, macroeconomic analysis, discretionary analytics, strategic planning, business development, regulatory/governance, and management of high-performance teams.
He founded Anavasis Financial Advisory in 2017 and has served as its Managing Director since. The firm advises clients on customized portfolio solutions, focusing on alternatives across the liquidity spectrum as well as direct investments. In the real estate sector, Greece is a particular area of geographic focus and the firm managed the purchase of the biggest single villa in the country in July 2022. Since 2017, he has also sat on the Investment Committee and Advisory Board of Chesapeake Asset Management, a one-billion-plus USD firm that functions as an Outsource CIO for Endowments, Family Offices and High Net Worth Individuals, developing and managing customized, global, multi-asset investment portfolios with a focus on alternative investments. Sourcing investments across the alternative’s spectrum from Liquid Hedge Funds to Private Equity, VC and Real Estate, he leads the activity in the Macro and Fixed Income areas and is responsible for developing the business in the European region.
Previously, Stefanos served as Senior Consultant at LB (Luigi Buttiglione) Macro, a premium macroeconomics and macro strategy firm that services major hedge funds, asset managers and sovereign wealth funds, in 2018-2019. He also managed a discretionary global macro portfolio as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Graham Capital Management, 2011-2016. As a founding member of the London office, he played a leading role in developing the firm’s presence in Europe. He is also a co-founder and former Managing Partner and Co-CIO of the Medley Macro Fund, 2008-2010. As Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer and European Treasurer at JPMorgan, 1992-2008, he headed International Rates and Foreign Exchange for the Chief Investment Office. Finally, as Vice President, Proprietary Trading and Asset Management at HSBC, 1988-1992, he co-headed a proprietary trading unit in global Rates and FX, and managed a 100mm USD portfolio for Wardley Investments, the Firm’s asset management division.
He received his education at the NYU Stern School of Business (MBA Finance, 1988), MIT (SM Mechanical Engineering, 1986), and the Stevens Institute of Technology (BS Mechanical Engineering, 1984). He is a dual citizen of Greece and the USA.

Marina Stavropoulou is a distinguished lawyer with more than 25 years of experience. She specializes in EU & competition law and advises clients on the full range of EU legal issues including competition, antitrust & mergers. Her focus is on helping companies with compliance strategies tailored to their individual needs and advising on legal issues that could arise in the context of commercial agreements. She has acted for international financial institutions, foreign states, credit institutions, and multinational and domestic businesses in large-scale matters both contentious and non-contentious, and has extensive experience and expertise in international commercial disputes as well as in banking and financial matters.
As the Director of the Legal Service of the Hellenic Competition Commission, her extended responsibilities included representing the Commission before European and international institutions (DG Competition, OECD) and drafting and evaluating reports on antitrust and merger cases. Active academically over two decades, she has inter alia written and published articles and papers, and lectured at training seminars addressing EU and competition law issues for managers and lawyers.
Marina Stavropoulou is a member of the Athens & Brussels Bar Associations. She graduated her Lic. Sp. from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Institut d’Etudes Européennes, and her LLB Master’s Degree from the Democritus University Law School.

Tassos Anastasopoulos is a Project Civil Engineer. During his career, he has successfully undertaken several residential projects, numerous hotel and office renovations, and various projects in the industrial sector, including work on water and wastewater treatment facilities, waste management facilities and biogas plants. He plays a key role in the operational process and manages projects from initial phase to completion of construction.
Tassos earned his BEng Honours in Civil Engineering from London South Bank University and completed his Master’s Degree in Structural Design at the same institution.
He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and has been included on the Greek Register of Contractors Enterprises since 2005.

Elina Karanastasi is an architect with a distinguished career in both the Netherlands and Greece. Her experience combines extensive knowledge of the landscape, building methods and architectural heritage of the Mediterranean with Dutch efficiency, high-value sustainable architecture, superb engineering and strong business instincts. She has collaborated with major design and construction companies in both countries and has been running her own architecture and project management practice since 2008, with a focus on building with natural materials. She has an excellent reputation in the Netherlands, where she works with both private clients and investor companies, whom she supports through the development process from start to finish. She has also undertaken various renovation, housing and neighbourhood projects in both the Netherlands and Greece which have incorporated circular economy concepts.
Elina was educated in both countries. She has held academic positions in Greece and Belgium, and has published and lectured extensively and internationally on sustainable and inclusive design.
She is currently an honoured member of the BNA (Bond Nederlandse Architecten) and a member of Technical Chamber of Greece.

Claire Ponirou is the owner and operating manager of ALBA RESIDENCES, a company that purchases and renovates apartments throughout Athens for rental or resale. Before that, she also worked in real estate development and refurbishment and had her own real estate agency in both London and Athens.
Claire has the strong business sense that comes with a Master of Science (MSc) in International Finance and Trade from the University of Westminster, London, and a Bachelor’s degree from John Cabot University, Rome. She is a graduate of Pierce—the American College of Greece.
Back in 2010, after living abroad for several years in London, Rome and other cities, she happened on the concept of a designer second-hand shop and decided it was time to create a similar space in Athens. Her store now trades successfully on various international acclaimed websites. She is extremely interested in innovative projects and a forerunner in various economic fields.

Kostas Avdalas has over twenty years’ experience in the fields of Business Development, Sales Administration, Marketing, Strategic Brand Positioning, and Public Relations. He has worked as a Sales Manager and Product Developer for major brands in Greece. Kostas is motivated by the diverse tasks and challenges his work presents him with, and has played an active role in developing our firm’s business processes project management and innovation process.

Marianna Kirkilitsi has been a freelance Architect-Engineer since 1997. She currently collaborates with “AKKM & ASSOCIATES – ARCHITECTURE & URBAN DESIGN” as a Senior Architect
In 2019, she collaborated with “BLOCK722 ARCHITECTS+” for a year as a Project Manager. During her career, she has completed numerous residential , hotel projects and renovations. Marianna received her education at the National Technical University of Athens (1991–2000), completing her postgraduate thesis in the Department of Architectural Space and Communication on “The children’s cinema club in the Dilaveris building, Piraeus” in 1997.
She has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) since December 2000, and sat on the elected council of the Panhellenic Association of Architecture Graduates (SADAS – PEA), 2014-2017. Marianna has been an elected member of the Glyfada Municip Council since 2010.

Michael Eleftheriou has extensive experience in project management in various contexts and countries, having worked in Greece, the United Kingdom, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates in a number of different capacities, including head of the Academic Support department at the University of Kurdistan-Hewler and Lead of a team producing technical oil industry documentation for Exxon Mobil.
He studied Law at Durham University in the UK and later completed an MA with the University of Leicester.
Brought up in UK to a Greek Cypriot father and an Irish mother, he has been based in Greece since 1990.
